Benjamin Franklin, a prolific writer and author of five books, once said that articles were nothing more than short books written by lazy people (no he didn’t). Yet reading articles can stimulate the mind, they can change ideas, they can improve the world in about the same time it takes to finish cooking a microwave dinner.
My mother always told me that lazy people will never amount to anything. Yet Bill Gates said that he would always hire a lazy person to do a difficult job because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it (he really did say that). Who was I to believe? My mother or Bill Gates?
It seemed to be a no-brainer. Below are some articles that I have written (and some by others) about economic development that I hope will provide you with new ideas, stimulating discussions and strategic thinking.
